In 1996 and again in 1997 and 1998 the Casuarina Restaurant won the prestigious American Express Award for the "Best Restaurant in the Hunter Valley" and was admitted to the American Express Hall of Fame in 1999
The Casuarina Restaurant also won the Restaurant and Catering Association of NSW award for Restaurant of the Year, Hunter Valley in 1996 & 1997, finalists in 1998, 1999, 2000 & 2001
