The Casuarina Vineyards which surrounds the Country Inn, restaurant and cottages are planted with Semillon, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz.

Casuarina Semillon 2004
Cold fermented is stainless steel for 7 days and kept on lees for 2 days before fining. Vibrant pale yellow/lime colour showing a lifted floral citrus Semillon character on the nose. The palate has an attractive lemon, slightly racy, character, good fruit intensity, soft rich lingering aftertaste and a crisp lemon acid finish. Alcohol 12.5%, acid 7.35g/l.

Casuarina Chardonnay 2004
Hand harvested, cold settled and fermented in stainless steel, a portion of the wine was matured in French oak for 5 months. The wine is soft and generous with an essence of luscious Chardonnay fruit. Toasty oak adds rich nutty aromas with citrus & toastiness on a smooth mouth-filling palate.

Casuarina Semillon/Sauvignon Blanc 2004
Made from a blend of 25% Sauvignon/Blanc and 75% Semillon. Fermented separately, the wine shows floral characteristics, balanced by the crisp citrus flavoured Semillon. The wine was left with a small amount of sugar witch adds to the richness, making it a wine that is perfect for every day drinking. Alcohol 13%, acid 6.8g/l.

Casuarina Merlot/Cabernet 2002
This wine is an amalgam of ripe raspberries, dried fruit and chocolate characters, supported by cedery, toasty oak. The berry yet savoury flavours will continue to develop and will be best around 2010.
